The jeogori is the upper piece of the hanbok wardrobe, the short jacket that meets the chima at the chest. For centuries the body length sat above the waist. The longer cut is a contemporary read, an extension that turns the jeogori into something a person can wear without the rest of the set, while keeping the goreum, the shoulder line, the V at the neck.
This is the daily reading. Sky-blue carries a fine cream stripe drawn vertically through the cotton-linen weave. The fabric breathes. Side slits at the hip let the body move when the wearer reaches across the table.
