Fabric and details
A cheollik that holds its architecture (high-set waist, generous pleats, sleeves cut for movement) and lets daywear handle the rest. A mid-weight matte polyblend with tonal stitching and no display embroidery.

A Sunday brunch with the in-laws in October. The autumn Chuseok visit to the parents' house. The first-anniversary dinner at home. Any day the table matters more than the calendar.

Saeron translates as new thread, the line of fabric a tailor pulls when starting a new piece. The cheollik has been pulled out and rebuilt many times in the last century. The first move was to lift it out of the court. The second was to set it down on the daywear table. This piece is the second move.
The bones of the cheollik stay. The high-set waist, the generous pleat from the yoke, the sleeve cut for motion. A mid-weight matte polyblend drapes without bunching at the hip. Lined through the chest for a clean front.
