Fabric and details
A sleeveless dress printed with a rose-garden motif, with contrast color blocks at the shoulder. The hem falls below the knee. The chima section is softly pleated from the natural waist.

Hwawol translates as flower moon, the part of the Korean spring when the gardens fill in. The dress as a single garment, with the bodice joined to the chima section, is a modern silhouette built on a traditional reading. The print carries the season. The cut carries the occasion.
