The hanbok shoulder is one of the oldest exact lines in Korean clothing. Narrow at the seam, set high, falling into a short jeogori sleeve. The shoulder is what makes the silhouette register as Korean at the first look. A lifestyle dress that keeps that line carries the form into the daily wardrobe without translating it into costume.
Lightweight cotton blend with a hanbok-cut shoulder and a hidden goreum-style closure at the chest. The skirt drops in pleats from the natural waist, sized to read as a contemporary dress rather than a chima. The collar holds the traditional jeogori line. The whole piece walks between two registers in one shape.
